:uh
We had no diet thread! Tsk tsk
Anyway, I've been reading a lot lately about coconut oil, and have decided to add it into my diet (which I have been watching pretty closely)
It would seem we'd been lied to about it's health benefits (or lack of)

I was so bad today. Olive Garden for lunch (love the bread sticks), frozen yogurt, popcorn and Mr. Pibb at the movie, and Edgars chocolate cake. I'll be back to being good tomorrow.

I'll begin after my birthday (next Monday). That makes for a good measuring point.

Okay, who needs help with their diet?
Read up on how many bug parts, rodent hairs, droppings etc. are allowed in your favorite food:

I am on the fence about weighing myself. I am sure I am down, but the trouble is I last weighed myself when the in law's had all their stuff in my garage and I used their scale first thing in the morning, before food or water, and after I peed :goofy :rotfl I guess I could drive down there now at 7 a.m. to check, I'm sure they'd looooove that :lol

Thing is I tried to be good...salads with little dressing, veggies, fish when possible; I did have dessert, but shared them. Oh well, back to the old grind :lol

You know, I've heard a rumor that a lot of really cool people are going to be headed to Disney World in January for a marathon and half marathon. . .
. . . I've also heard that even if you walk and don't maintain the pace, they don't actually beat you or anything . . . in fact, nice people in air-conditioned buses pick you up and take you back to Epcot in time for you to meet up with friends for lunch.:lookaroun

For the first time in the almost 15 years we've been married, we decided we'd have a bathroom scale in our house :rotfl I weighed myself this morning, first time since I went to the doctor a couple months or so ago, and I've lost 3 pounds :) Small amount, but good considering I have changed very little about what I'm eating, just been exercising more :lol

I'm down 6 pounds, but that could be the stomach virus that's been going around :lol
Lenny has been ordered by the doctor to lose at least 10 pounds before he goes back in 3 months (we've all gained too much over the winter, but his BP is up and that's with medication :sealed ). Farmer's market is in full swing so we've been eating a lot more fresh veggies. It would help if everyone ate on the same schedule so I could cook a decent meal everyday. :rollseyes
I have a scale (don't keep it in the bathroom or on carpet), but I only weight myself once a week or I'd go crazy (ok, crazier). And I cook/bake/eat when I'm stressed out, but I manage to send the baked goods to work with Lenny :lol
